Frankland Fun Fair Dream Basket Raffle
Please consider donating to our Class Dream Basket Raffle to help raise money for our school library. Deadline for donations is Friday, May 17 and the basket raffles will be drawn at the Fun Fair.
The Frankland Fun Fair is quickly approaching and as part of this year’s event, we will be having the “Class Dream Basket'' Raffle. We’ve combined classrooms and have assigned a basket theme to each class. Families are invited to consider donating an item that reflects that theme to be included in the basket and the money raised from these basket raffles will go towards our school’s library renovations.
The themes for each classroom are:
Rooms 101,108, 202 - Family Fun
movie tickets, movie night snacks, bowls, blankets, sport event tickets, restaurant gift cards, board games, puzzles, outdoor games, picnic items, pet products.
Rooms 102, 109, 204 - Bon Appetit/BBQ
cooking tools, spice rubs, sauces, jams, honey, tapenades, cookbooks, napkins, chocolates, cookies, LCBO gift cards, picnic blanket, butcher/gourmet shop gift cards.
Rooms 103, 203 - S.T.E.M & Sports
science activity kits, LEGO sets, microscope, magnifying glass, bug nets, sports racquets, balls, jerseys, hats, water toys, driving range, gift cars, sports paraphernalia.
Rooms 105, 106 - Book Lovers
Bestsellers for kids and adults, magazines, cookbooks, reading lights, bookmarks, book store gift cards, cozy blankets, tea, coffee, chocolates, notebooks, pens, book totes.
Rooms 107, 205, 207 - Arts and Crafts
craft supplies or kits, paints, brushes, canvases, frames, yarn, colouring books, markers, pastels, pencil crayons, art store gift cards, beads, tie-dye kits.
Donated items can be dropped off to your child’s classroom by Friday, May 17, which is next Friday. There is a box in each classroom to collect the donations or please give them to your child's teacher. We thank you in advance for considering donating an item to the Fun Fair and helping us raise money to update our library.
The Frankland Fun Fair is on Sunday, June 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. We hope to see all our Falcons there!
